Our 2008 Breeding Pairs
This
is a breeding pair that we are very high on. Last year they bred
a single youngster AU07SRP624, a blue check hen, who diplomaed
twice and won many other points in young bird races up to 300 miles.
1819 is from the loft of Steve Canby, Tulare, California.
His granddam from Campbell Stange producing nearly $50,000.
These birds have a long history of winning in races such as the
Snowbird, Las Vegas races and the Shasta
Classic. 8890 was kept for stock. Her mother AU05SRP7103
was a money winner for North Road Loft and later won diplomas for Danny
Welch in races out to 500 miles. 8890's sire is AU03SRP454, "Big
Block," bred and flown by Danny Welch, a winner of equal 1st in
the 600 mile race as a yearling. **E-mail us for pedigrees.

A
pair of the most promising breeders we have, AU05SRP7102 was 5th Ace
Bird in the 2005 Shasta Classic, winning money in all three races.
His father, AU04SAC0800 was line-bred for stock by
Larry
Miller from his fine Janssen family which produced over 50 winners in 4
years. AU04SRP4340 was 7th drop in the California State Race in 2004.
She is down from van Loon's "Super 73" and
Larry Miller Janssens. 0800 and 4340 have never failed to breed money winners in the past 3 years.
AU04SRP4321 was a super racer for North Road Loft. A fine-looking,
medium-sized hen, straight-bred
van Loon, 4321 has over 4,000 miles under her belt, winning the 550
mile race from Okanagan, Washington, in 2006 when the temperature that
day had risen to 110 degrees...she is a workhorse. We believe
these two will breed all-distance birds, capable of winning any race.

Long-distance racing homers don't come any better than these.
The father of AU05SRP7135, a Jan Aarden, diplomaed twice from the
600. His mother, a Leen Boers, was California Long-distance
Hall of Fame Winner in 2004 and Combine Ace Pigeon.
7135s mate, AU05SRP7115 is from a long line of great long-distance champions.
Her sister won the 425 mile race by 2 hours and 9 minutes
when
she was only 11 months old. 7115s father was our Digest
Long-distance Hall of Fame winner and winner of 425 and 500 mile race
two years in a row...on the day. She is the granddaughter of Owen
Martin's famous #30, winner of diplomaes from the 500 and 600 mile
races, having flown these distances 9 times in 3 years...the best
long-distance hen in the history of Northern California. 7115 is
